  • Preparation of environmental engineering and occupational health programs that comply with clients’ policies and the dominant legal and technical requirements;

  • Environmental impact assessments (EIA’s) of proposed and current facilities that include water, soil, air, radiation and noise

  • Assessment of fugitive emissions in industrial facilities

  • Air dispersion modelling to estimate pollutants’ concentrations at the ground levels and/or points of impingement as a result from emission sources and proposing technically sound and economically feasible mitigation solutions;

  • Preparation of applications for Certificate of and Environmental Compliance

  • Approval for industrial and commercial facilities; Conceptional design of treatment

    facilities of industrial wastewater discharges

  • Waste management of hazardous industrial wastes including manifesting and transportation requirements

  • Preparation of Emergency Preparedness and Response Procedures of incidents involving hazardous materials

  • Health risk assessments of new and current-operative industrial facilities

  • Health risk assessments associated with confined spaces entry for example during inspection, maintenance and upgrading activities of tanks, reactors and drums

  • Area clearance following mitigation of chemical spillage or leak incidents;

  • Identifying, evaluation and control of occupational health hazards that include chemicals, noise, heat stress, radiation (ionizing/non-ionizing), ergonomics and illumination;

  • Design and upgrading of industrial ventilation systems of laboratories, hangars, open-surface process tanks and cleaning/painting booths;

  • Indoor air quality and ventilation in tight buildings and control rooms

  • Implementation of WHIMS and HAZCOM Programs

  • Implementation of Radiation Protection Program

  • Assessment of personal exposure to noise and control methods

  • Noise mapping and noise mitigation solutions in industrial facilities

  • Development of Safety Data Sheets (SDS's) and labels of hazardous materials

  • Asbestos management programs that include identifying ACM, fibre counting and mitigation methods

The following substances are examples of what CANEGT can conduct sampling and assessment of in the breathing zone of employees under their workplace conditions:
  • Respirable, thoracic and total Particulate such as those of Nuisance Dust, Welding Fume, Crystalline Silica and Oil Mist

  • Asbestos fibres, Chromium VI, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s), Isocyanates (MDI, TDI, PMDI).

  • Amines, Ozone, Chlorine, Carbon monoxide
